The Department of Communication and Cognition in the Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences is looking for an enthusiastic new Assistant Professor in Strategic Communication.
The candidate will teach courses and supervise bachelor and master theses related to strategic communication and related topics such as corporate communication, health communication, marketing and persuasive communication within the Communication and Information Sciences (CIS) program. Additionally, the candidate is expected to set up a new line of research related to strategic communication, which will be part of the Tilburg Center for Cognition and Communication (TiCC).
The successful candidate has: (1) a PhD in communication science, psychology, or a related field, and has published in international journals or conference proceedings, (2) strong methodological and statistical skills, (3) experience with advanced research techniques, or experience with computational modelling and programming are considered advantageous, (4) acquired (or is willing to acquire) the University Teaching Qualification, and (5) the ability to communicate in English fluently and is able (or willing to learn) to communicate in Dutch.
