Exciting news from the Dutch Journal of Applied Linguistics (DuJAL)! Our journal has moved to a new publisher: openjournals.nl. Openjournals.nl was launched by the KNAW, NWO and the OPUS Foundation to offer a platform for diamond open access journals. DuJAL is such a journal now: it offers free-of-charge, online only, open access publication under cc-by 4.0 license with indexing in all relevant databases.
DuJAL publishes research on (second) language use, learning, teaching and policy, and particularly values both theoretically and practically driven research that is of societal relevance. The journal has a good track record of publishing the work of early career researchers. Visit the new website at www.dujal.nl and register to receive notifications of new publications.
We have seized the opportunity to improve our publication practice by aiming for more transparency and openness. We now accept replication studies and we offer possibilities for publication of instruments and datasets. In addition, we aim to improve our service by way of fair reviewing, faster turn-around, and publication soon after acceptance. If you are looking for a venue to publish your research, please also consider DuJAL.
