Kletskoppen (‘Chatterboxes’) child language festival is going on tour! This coming Sunday, September 29th September, researchers from the Radboud University and the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics will take over The Hague central library for a fun-filled family day of science, filled with interactive labs, educational games and (multilingual) book reading sessions. In addition, there’ll be the musical performance Dikkie Dik en de taart, as well as workshops and performances by children’s author Annemarie Bon and rapper Tyler Koudijzer.
You can find the complete programme at www.kletskoppenfestival.nl.
Entrance is free and there are activities for children up to age 12.
We’re hoping to get as many children as possible enthusiastic about language and language research, so please do encourage family, friends, neighbours to come along!
Kletskoppen is an initiative from Nijmegen. This edition is funded by the Nationale Wetenschapsagenda (NWA).
