The Department of Communication and Cognition in the Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences is looking for two enthusiastic colleagues for tenured positions as Assistant Professor.
The candidates are expected to initiate and conduct fundamental and applied research in the Tilburg Center for Cognition and Communication (TiCC). Core research domains include (in alphabetical order) communication and technology, cross-cultural communication, information visualisation, language production, new media design, non-verbal communication, social media research, and strategic communication. The candidates are expected to develop new lines of research fitting within TiCC.

Annually, the CIS program attracts approximately 120 new bachelor students, 150 new premaster students, and 200 new master students. Candidates are expected to contribute to one or more of the following teaching topics: corporate communication, human-computer interaction, marketing communication, narrative and storytelling, non-verbal communication, persuasive communication, programming, statistics, methodology, and (interactive) data visualisation, user experience (UX) design, and visual communication.
