Cogling Days 2024 | December 12-13, 2024
The Cogling Days of 2024 will take place on December 12-13 at the University of Antwerp. This is the biennial conference of cognitive linguistics in the Low Countries. The theme of the upcoming edition is ‘Cognitive approaches to language: the individual and the community’, but all contributions reporting on recent research in cognitive linguistics or cognitively inspired approaches to language, discourse and cognition are welcome. Apart from a plenary talk by Freek Van de Velde, the Cogling Days will also feature a panel on the question ‘How to study the interplay between the individual and the community?’. Panel members include Arie Verhagen (Leiden University), Marie Barking (Tilburg University) and Peter Petré (University of Antwerp). Abstracts can be submitted in Dutch, English, French, Frisian or German until June 17, 2024.
