Phonetics Day | 13 December
On Friday December 13, 2019, the Netherlands Society for Phonetic Sciences holds her yearly Phonetics Day (“Dag van de fonetiek”), at the University of Amsterdam. This year’s keynote speaker is dr. Mirjam Broersma (Radboud Universiteit).
We invite submissions on current and recently-finished phonetic research within the empirical tradition, and/or demonstrations of new applications or methods within the field of speech science.
Abstracts will be anonymised for review and judged for empirical or practical relevance, clarity and completeness (i.e. research question, hypotheses, methods, availability of results, and –especially for new methods/software- possible applications).
If you have a contribution, in English or Dutch, we would like to receive a title and 200-word summary by Friday November 8th, at nvfw@rug.nl.
We will send out a decision in the week of November 19th.
