Vote for Lieke Verheijen as the ‘New Scientist Wetenschapstalent 2019’
Dr Lieke Verheijen has been nominated for the ‘New Scientist Wetenschapstalent 2019’ prize. This prize is awarded annually by New Scientist, to a young researcher with a high scientific and social impact who reaches a broad audience through his or her outreach activities. The winner will be decided by popular vote (50%) and a jury score (50%).
You can vote for Lieke until Monday 6 May, on the New Scientist website.
The winner will be announced on 31 May in TivoliVredenburg during New Scientist Live.
Lieke recently published her PhD dissertation in the LOT Dissertation Series (see https://lotschool.nl/lot-dissertation-529-is-textese-a-threat-to-traditional-literacy/). She currently works as an Assistant Professor at Radboud University.
